ये च ते सिन्धुराजस्य गोप्तार: पावकोपमा: । ते प्राह्ष्पन्त समरे दृष्ट्वा पुत्र॑ं तव प्रभो,प्रभो! सिन्धुराजकी रक्षा करनेवाले जो अग्निके समान तेजस्वी वीर थे, वे आपके पुत्रको समरांगणमें डटा हुआ देख बड़े प्रसन्न हुए
ye ca te sindhurājasya goptāraḥ pāvakopamāḥ | te prāhṛṣyanta samare dṛṣṭvā putraṁ tava prabho ||
Wahai tuanku, para penjaga raja Sindhu—para kesatria yang menyala laksana api—bersukacita di medan perang ketika melihat putramu berdiri teguh.
