Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds

लोकानां गुरुरत्यर्थ लोकनाथ: सनातन: । नारायणो रणे नाथो दिव्यो दिव्यात्मक: प्रभु:,भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌के परम गुरु हैं, समस्त लोकोंके सनातन स्वामी हैं, संग्रामभूमिमें सबकी रक्षा करनेवाले दिव्य स्वरूप, सामर्थ्यशाली, दिव्य नारायण हैं

lokānāṃ gurur atyarthaṃ lokanāthaḥ sanātanaḥ | nārāyaṇo raṇe nātho divyo divyātmakaḥ prabhuḥ ||

Waiśampāyana berkata: “Śrī Kṛṣṇa adalah guru tertinggi bagi semua makhluk, Tuhan abadi bagi segala dunia. Di medan perang Ia menjadi pelindung dan tumpuan semua—Nārāyaṇa yang ilahi, berhakikat ilahi, Sang Penguasa.”
