Sañjaya berkata: Lalu ia menutupi sang rākṣasa dengan berbagai jenis ular. Setelah itu, ketika raja para rākṣasa terkepung oleh nāga yang tak terbilang, ia merenung sekejap, mengambil wujud Garuḍa, dan mulai melahap semua pannage itu.
