भीष्मभीमसमागमः — Bhīṣma–Bhīma Strategic Engagement and Counsel to the King
शस्त्रवृष्टि परैर्मुक्तां शरौघैर्यदवारयत् । न च तत्राप्यनिर्भिन्न: कश्चिदासीद् विशाम्पते,उन्होंने अपने बाणसमूहद्वारा शत्रुओंकी की हुई बाण-वर्षाको रोक दिया। महाराज! उस समय वहाँ कोई भी योद्धा ऐसा नहीं रह गया था, जो उनके बाणोंसे क्षत-विक्षत न हो गया हो
sañjaya uvāca | śastravṛṣṭiṃ parair muktāṃ śaraughair yad avārayat | na ca tatrāpy anirbhinnaḥ kaścid āsīd viśāṃ pate ||
Dengan hujan anak panahnya yang rapat ia menahan badai senjata yang dilepaskan musuh. Wahai penguasa manusia, saat itu tak seorang pun di sana yang tidak tertembus oleh panah-panahnya.
