तेषां सुतुमुलं युद्ध व्यतिषक्तरथद्धिपम् । अवर्तत महारीौद्रे निघध्नतामितरेतरम्
teṣāṁ sutumulaṁ yuddhaṁ vyatiṣakta-ratha-dvipam | avartata mahāraudre nighnatām itaretaram ||
Lalu pecahlah pertempuran yang amat dahsyat dan hiruk-pikuk di antara mereka—kereta dan gajah saling berjalin dalam benturan jarak dekat. Dalam amuk perang yang besar dan mengerikan itu, mereka saling menghantam tanpa jeda.
