भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
शक्तीक्ष विमलास्तीक्ष्णा गदाक्ष परिचै: सह | प्रासान् परश्वधांश्वैव मुदूगरान् मुसलानपि
śaktīkṣa vimalāstīkṣṇā gadākṣa paricaiḥ saha | prāsān paraśvadhāṁś caiva mudūgarān musalān api
Di sana ada pula senjata-senjata yang berkilau dan tajam: śakti (lembing), gada beserta parigha; juga tombak, kapak perang, pentung besi, dan alu-alu berat.
