अर्जुनस्तु ततः क्रुद्धस्तव सैन्यं विशाम्पते । ववर्ष शरवर्षेण धाराभिरिव तोयद:,प्रजानाथ! तदनन्तर क्रोधमें भरे हुए अर्जुन आपकी सेनापर उसी प्रकार बाणोंकी वर्षा करने लगे, जैसे बादल पानीकी धारा बरसाता है
arjunas tu tataḥ kruddhas tava sainyaṁ viśāmpate | vavarṣa śaravarṣeṇa dhārābhir iva toyadaḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Lalu Arjuna, menyala oleh amarah, menghujani bala tuan dengan badai anak panah, wahai pemimpin manusia—bagaikan awan hujan menumpahkan aliran air.
