भीमसेनस्य प्रतिघातः—भगदत्तगजप्रहारः—घटोत्कचमायायुद्धम्

अर्धचन्द्रेण व्यूहेन व्यूहं तमतिदारुणम् । दक्षिणं शुड्रमास्थाय भीमसेनो व्यरोचत
sañjaya uvāca | ardhacandreṇa vyūhena vyūhaṃ tam atidāruṇam | dakṣiṇaṃ śṛṅgam āsthāya bhīmaseno vyarocata ||
Sañjaya berkata: Dengan formasi berbentuk bulan sabit mereka menghadapi formasi yang amat mengerikan itu; dan Bhimasena, mengambil posisi pada tanduk kanan—sayap kanan—tampak bersinar.
