अन्योन्यं सम तदा योधा विकर्षन्तो विशाम्पते

Transliteration

anyonyam sama tadā yodhā vikarṣanto viśāmpate

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Wahai penguasa rakyat, saat itu para kesatria yang seimbang kekuatannya saling menarik dan menyeret dalam himpitan pertempuran, masing-masing berusaha menundukkan yang lain.
