अभ्यधावन्त सहिता: शल्यप्रभूतयो रथा: । रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीष्मको रथहीन हुआ देख शल्य आदि उत्तम महारथी एक साथ दौड़े
abhya-dhāvanta sahitāḥ śalya-prabhūtayo rathāḥ |
Sanjaya berkata: Lalu kereta-kereta—dipimpin oleh Salya dan para kesatria utama lainnya—melaju bersama. Melihat Bhishma, yang terbaik di antara para petarung kereta, telah kehilangan keretanya, Salya dan para maharathi unggul itu serentak bergegas untuk melindunginya.
