संजय उवाच एवमाभाष्यमाणो<पि भ्रातृभि: कुरुनन्दन: । नोवाच वाग्यतः किंचिद् गच्छत्येव युधिछिर:,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! भाइयोंके इस प्रकार कहनेपर भी कुरुकुलको आनन्दित करनेवाले राजा युधिष्ठिर उनसे कुछ नहीं बोले। चुपचाप चलते ही गये
sañjaya uvāca evam ābhāṣyamāṇo 'pi bhrātṛbhiḥ kurunandanaḥ | novāca vāgyataḥ kiñcid gacchaty eva yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai Raja, meski saudara-saudaranya berbicara demikian, Yudhiṣṭhira—kebanggaan wangsa Kuru—tak mengucap sepatah kata pun. Ia menahan tutur, dan terus melangkah dalam diam.
