विस्तरेणात्मनो योगं विभूतिं च जनार्दन | भूय: कथय तृप्तिहिं शृण्वतो नास्ति मेडमृतम्
arjuna uvāca | vistareṇātmano yogaṁ vibhūtiṁ ca janārdana | bhūyaḥ kathaya tṛptir hi śṛṇvato nāsti me 'mṛtam, he janārdana ||
Wahai Janārdana, jelaskan kembali—dengan lebih luas—yoga ilahi-Mu dan manifestasi-manifestasi-Mu. Sebab ketika mendengarkan sabda-Mu yang laksana nektar, aku tak pernah merasa puas; kerinduanku untuk mendengar terus menyala.
अजुन उवाच
Arjuna’s request highlights that knowledge of the Lord’s yoga (sovereign divine power) and vibhūti (manifest glories) deepens devotion and clarity; the more one hears, the more one’s reverence and desire to understand dharma grows.
In the midst of the Kurukṣetra discourse, Arjuna—moved by Kṛṣṇa’s teaching—asks Him to repeat and expand the explanation of His divine manifestations, saying that the ‘nectar’ of these words never satiates him.
