कर्मयोग–ज्ञानयज्ञ–अवतारोपदेश

Karma-Yoga, Jñāna-Yajña, and Avatāra Instruction

सम्बन्ध-- उपर्युक्त प्रकारसे मनसहित इन्द्रियॉको वशर्मोें न करनेसे और भगवत्परायण न होनेसे क्या हानि है? यह बात अब दो *लोकोंमें बतलायी जाती है-- ध्यायतो विषयान्‌ पुंस: सड़स्तेषूपजायते । सड्त्‌ संजायते काम: कामात्‌ क्रोधोडभिजायते,विषयोंका चिन्तन करनेवाले पुरुषकी उन विषयोंमें आसक्ति हो जाती है, आसक्तिसे उन विषयोंकी कामना उत्पन्न होती है और कामनामें विघ्न पड़नेसे क्रोध उत्पन्न होता है

dhyāyato viṣayān puṁsaḥ saṅgas teṣūpajāyate | saṅgāt sañjāyate kāmaḥ kāmāt krodho 'bhijāyate ||

Ketika seseorang terus-menerus memusatkan pikiran pada objek-objek indria, keterikatan pada objek itu timbul. Dari keterikatan lahir hasrat; dan ketika hasrat terhalang, lahirlah amarah.
