Transliteration

saṃjayā uvāca |

sahitāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ sarve kuravaś ca mahārathāḥ |

upagamya mahātmānaṃ śayānaṃ śayane śubhe, rājan |

Translation

Semua Pandawa bersama-sama, dan para Kaurawa—para kesatria kereta agung—mendekati sang mahatma Bhisma yang berbaring di pembaringan yang mulia.
