न चक्कुस्ते रुजं तस्य स्वर्णपड्खा: शिलाशिता: । महारथी शिखण्डीने जिन महान् बाणोंका प्रयोग किया था
sañjaya uvāca | na cākkuṣṭe rujaṃ tasya svarṇapakṣāḥ śilāśitāḥ |
Namun anak panah itu—bersayap emas dan diasah di atas batu, dilepaskan oleh Śikhaṇḍin—tak mampu menimbulkan luka ataupun rasa nyeri pada tubuh Bhisma.
