मोक्षिश्रि: संस्तुतो नित्यं प्रभुनारायणो हरि: । राजन! वहीं गोमन्त नामक विशाल पर्वत है, जो सम्पूर्ण धातुओंसे सम्पन्न है। वहाँ मोक्षकी इच्छा रखनेवाले उपासकोंके मुखसे अपनी स्तुति सुनते हुए सबके स्वामी श्रीमान् कमलनयन भगवान् नारायण नित्य निवास करते हैं ।। ८ ह ।। कुशद्वीपे तु राजेन्द्र पर्वतो विद्रुमैश्वचित:
sañjaya uvāca | mokṣiśrīḥ saṃstuto nityaṃ prabhunārāyaṇo hariḥ | rājan! vahīṃ gomanta-nāmakaḥ viśālaḥ parvataḥ asti, yaḥ samasta-dhātubhiḥ sampannaḥ | tatra mokṣa-icchāṃ kurvantaḥ upāsakāḥ sva-mukhaiḥ stutiṃ gāyantaḥ; tāṃ śṛṇvan sarveśvaraḥ śrīmān kamalanayanaḥ bhagavān nārāyaṇaḥ nityaṃ nivāsam karoti || kuśadvīpe tu rājendra parvato vidrumaiś citraḥ ||
Wahai Raja! Pada gunung Gomanta yang luas dan kaya akan segala mineral itu, Tuhan Narayana—Hari, penguasa segala, mulia dan bermata teratai—bersemayam abadi, mendengarkan pujian yang dilantunkan para pemuja yang mendambakan mokṣa. Dan di Kuśadvīpa pula, wahai raja terbaik, ada sebuah gunung yang berhias kilau laksana karang merah.
संजय उवाच
Liberation-oriented devotion is highlighted: seekers of moksha approach the Lord through praise and worship, and the text emphasizes Narayana’s perpetual presence and accessibility to sincere devotees.
Sanjaya describes sacred/cosmographic locations—especially the mountain Gomanta—where Lord Narayana is said to dwell eternally, listening to hymns sung by devotees seeking liberation; he then alludes to a related description of a mountain in Kusadvipa adorned with coral-like beauty.
