अप्रधृष्यमनावार्य सर्वशस्त्रभूृतां वरम् द्रौणिं प्रति ययौ यत्त: पाउचाल्य: सह सोदरै:,समस्त शस्त्रधारियोंमें श्रेष्ठ अनिवार्य और दुर्धर्ष वीर अश्वत्थामापर भाइयोंसहित धृष्टद्युम्नने प्रयत्नपूर्वक आक्रमण किया

apradhṛṣyam anāvāryaṁ sarvaśastrabhṛtāṁ varam |
drauṇiṁ prati yayau yatnaḥ pāñcālyaḥ saha sodaraiḥ ||
