Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)
आजजल्नुरर्जुनं संख्ये भीमसेनं च मारिष । माननीय प्रजानाथ! चित्रसेन आदि आपके पुत्रोंने भी युद्धस्थलमें तुरंत ही पाँच-पाँच तीखे बाणोंद्वारा अर्जुन और भीमसेनको घायल कर दिया
sañjaya uvāca | ājaghnur arjunaṃ saṅkhye bhīmasenaṃ ca māriṣa | mānanīya prajānātha citrasena-ādayaḥ putrās tava yuddhasthale tūrṇam eva pañca-pañca tīkṣṇa-bāṇair arjunaṃ bhīmasenaṃ ca vyathayan |
Wahai raja yang mulia, di medan laga putra-putramu—Chitrasena dan yang lainnya—segera melukai Arjuna dan Bhimasena, masing-masing dengan lima anak panah yang tajam.
