अपि संचयबुद्धिहि लोभमोहवशंगत: । उद्वेजयति भूतानि पापेनाशुद्धबुद्धिना

Transliteration

api sañcayabuddhiṁ hi lobhamohavaśaṅgataḥ | udvejayati bhūtāni pāpenāśuddhabuddhinā ||

Translation

Waiśampāyana berkata: Dikuasai ketamakan dan delusi, ia mengambil sikap menimbun; dengan pengertian yang tercemar, melalui laku dosa ia menjerumuskan makhluk hidup ke dalam kegelisahan dan penderitaan.
