धूतपापो जितस्वर्गों मुमुदे भ्रातृभि: सह । इस प्रकार पृथ्वीके मूल्यके रूपमें वह सुवर्ण देकर राजा युधिष्ठिर अपने भाइयोंसहित बहुत प्रसन्न हुए। उनके सारे पाप धुल गये और उन्होंने स्वर्गपर अधिकार प्राप्त कर लिया
dhūtapāpo jitasvargo mumude bhrātṛbhiḥ saha |
Waiśampāyana berkata: Setelah dosanya tersapu bersih dan hak atas surga diraihnya, Yudhiṣṭhira bersukacita bersama saudara-saudaranya. Dengan memberikan emas itu sebagai harga bumi, ia dipenuhi kegembiraan; segala dosanya tersucikan dan ia memperoleh kelayakan menuju svarga.
