Babhruvāhana’s Lament and Appeal for Expiation (प्रायश्चित्त-याचना)
तमुवाच तथा पृष्टो मणिपूरपतिस्तदा । प्रसाद्य शिरसा विद्वानुलूपी पृच्छयतामियम्
tam uvāca tathā pṛṣṭo maṇipūra-patis tadā | prasādya śirasā vidvān ulūpīṃ pṛcchayatām iyam, pitā te ||
Ketika ditanya demikian, raja Maṇipūra yang bijak menundukkan kepala di kaki ayahnya untuk menyenangkan hatinya, lalu berkata: “Ayah, tanyakanlah kisah ini kepada ibu Ulūpī.”
