Sembah sujud kepada Rudra—Si Berleher Biru, Sang Purusha Tertinggi yang bercahaya mulia; kepada Tuhan berambut gimbal, Yang berwujud dahsyat; kepada Dewa bermata keemasan-kecokelatan, Sang Pemberi anugerah.
संवर्त उवाच
