Traigarta Attempt to Seize the Aśvamedha Horse; Arjuna’s Restraint and Tactical Victory
evaṁ śuśrāva vadatāṁ giro jiṣṇur udāra-dhīḥ | svasti te 'stu vrajāriṣṭaṁ punaś caihīti bhārata ||
Demikianlah Arjuna—berbudi luhur, tak terkalahkan—mendengar ucapan orang banyak: “Semoga sejahtera bagimu, wahai Bhārata.
The verse highlights the dharmic value of śubha-āśīrvāda (auspicious blessing): society supports righteous action by wishing safety, freedom from harm, and a wholesome return—affirming that duty should be pursued without needless peril and with concern for well-being.
Vaiśaṁpāyana narrates that Arjuna hears people speaking among themselves and addressing him with blessings—urging him to depart safely and to come back again unharmed—reflecting public goodwill toward his mission.
