उपयोक्तुं तदिच्छामि वाजिमेथे महाक्रतौ । “भगवन्‌! आपकी कृपासे जो वह रत्न लाया गया है, उसका अश्वमेध नामक महायज्ञमें मैं उपयोग करना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

upayoktuṃ tad icchāmi vājimethe mahākratau |

Translation

Waiśampāyana berkata: “Dengan izinmu, wahai Bhagavan, aku hendak mempergunakan permata itu dalam mahākratu Aśvamedha. Apa yang diperoleh berkat anugerahmu ingin kupersembahkan dalam mahāyajña demi tujuan dharma.”
