संस्तूयमाना: स्तुतिभि: सूतमागधवन्दिभि: । स्वेन सैन्येन संवीता यथादित्या: स्वरश्मिभि:
saṁstūyamānāḥ stutibhiḥ sūtamāgadhavandibhiḥ | svena sainyena saṁvītā yathādityāḥ svaraśmibhiḥ ||
Para bard—sūta, māgadha, dan vandi—berjalan sambil melantunkan pujian dalam beragam kidung. Dikelilingi oleh bala tentaranya sendiri, para Pāṇḍava tampak laksana matahari yang bersinar gemilang, seolah dihiasi dan dipagari oleh sinar-sinarnya sendiri.
