Uttanka’s Guru-Śuśrūṣā and the Commission to Retrieve the Maṇikuṇḍalas
The verse elevates divine darśana (direct vision of the revered Lord) as the highest blessing: rather than asking for external gains, the devotee regards the experience of Kṛṣṇa’s presence and form as complete fulfillment, modeling gratitude and spiritual prioritization.
In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a speaker addresses Kṛṣṇa with reverence, declaring that merely seeing Kṛṣṇa’s form is itself a sufficient and supreme boon granted by him, implying a moment of devotional encounter and acknowledgment of Kṛṣṇa’s exalted status.
