Kṛṣṇa’s Departure, Auspicious Omens, and the Opening of the Uttaṅka Dialogue (कृष्णप्रयाण-निमित्त-उत्तङ्कसंवाद-प्रारम्भः)
अहं च प्रीयमाणेन त्वया देवकिनन्दन । यदुक्तस्तत् करिष्यामि न हि मे5त्र विचारणा,“देवकीनन्दन! आपने प्रेमपूर्वक प्रसन्नताके साथ मुझे जो कार्य करनेके लिये कहा है, उसे अवश्य करूँगा; इसमें मुझे कुछ भी विचार नहीं करना है
ahaṁ ca prīyamāṇena tvayā devakīnandana | yad uktaḥ tat kariṣyāmi na hi me 'tra vicāraṇā ||
Waiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai putra Devakī, karena engkau menegurku dengan kasih sayang dan niat baik, aku pasti akan melakukan tepat seperti yang engkau minta. Dalam hal ini, aku tak perlu bimbang atau menimbang-nimbang.”
