Brahmopadeśa on Saṃnyāsa, Tapas, and Jñāna (ब्रह्मोपदेशः—संन्यासतपोज्ञानविमर्शः)
यस्तु वेद निराधारं ज्ञानं तत्त्वविनिश्चयात् | सर्वभूतस्थमात्मानं स सर्वगतिरिष्यते,जो तत्त्वका पूर्ण निश्चय करके ज्ञानस्वरूप, निराधार और सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंके भीतर रहनेवाले आत्माको जान लेता है, वह सर्वव्यापक हो जाता है
vāyudeva uvāca | yastu veda nirādhāraṃ jñānaṃ tattvaviniścayāt | sarvabhūtastham ātmānaṃ sa sarvagatir iṣyate ||
Vāyudeva bersabda: Barangsiapa, dengan kepastian penuh tentang kebenaran, mengenali Ātman yang berwujud pengetahuan murni—tanpa sandaran namun bersemayam dalam semua makhluk—ia dipandang telah mencapai “sarvagati”, yakni kemahameliputan.
वायुदेव उवाच
Firm discernment of reality leads to realization of the Ātman as pure consciousness, independent of external supports and present in all beings; such realization is described as attaining all-pervasiveness (sarvagati), i.e., freedom from limitation.
Vāyudeva is instructing the listener in a contemplative teaching: true knowledge is not mere information but direct realization of the Self within all beings, presented as the mark of spiritual attainment in this section of the Aśvamedhika Parva.
