नैतत्‌ पार्थ सुविज्ञेयं व्यामिश्रेणेति मे मतिः । नरेणाकृतसंज्ञेन विशुद्धेनान्तरात्मना,कुन्तीनन्दन! मेरा तो ऐसा विश्वास है कि जिसका चित्त व्यग्र है, जिसे ज्ञानका उपदेश नहीं प्राप्त है, वह मनुष्य इस विषयको सुगमतापूर्वक नहीं समझ सकता। जिसका अन्त:करण शुद्ध है, वही इसे जान सकता है

naitat pārtha suvijñeyaṁ vyāmiśreṇeti me matiḥ | nareṇākṛtasaṁjñena viśuddhenāntarātmanā, kuntīnandana!

Vāyu berkata: “Wahai Pārtha, menurut pandanganku perkara ini tidak mudah dipahami bila pengertian seseorang bercampur dan kacau. Manusia yang kesadarannya belum terbentuk dengan benar—yang pikirannya gelisah dan tak terlatih—takkan menangkapnya dengan mudah. Hanya dia yang batinnya telah disucikan yang dapat mengetahuinya dengan sungguh, wahai putra Kuntī.”
