व्याधि-गुण-साम्योपदेशः | Discourse on Affliction, Guṇa-Equilibrium, and the Inner Battle
तस्मिन्ननिर्जिते युद्धे कामवस्थां गमिष्यसि । एतज्ज्ञात्वा तु कौन्तेय कृतकृत्यो भविष्यसि
tasminn anirjite yuddhe kāmāvasthāṁ gamiṣyasi | etaj jñātvā tu kaunteya kṛtakṛtyo bhaviṣyasi ||
Bila dalam pertempuran yang belum kau taklukkan itu engkau gagal menundukkan diri, engkau akan jatuh ke keadaan dikuasai nafsu-keinginan. Namun, wahai putra Kuntī, bila engkau memahami hal ini dengan jernih, engkau akan menjadi kṛtakṛtya—telah menunaikan yang wajib ditunaikan.
