gurur mato bhavān asya kṛtsnasya jagataḥ prabhuḥ
Waiśampāyana berkata: “Engkau dipandang sebagai guru—bahkan sebagai penguasa luhur—atas seluruh jagat ini.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores dharmic hierarchy and ethical restraint: one who is acknowledged as a guru and ‘prabhu’ deserves deference, and moral authority is grounded in recognized wisdom and rightful leadership rather than mere power.
