Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)

इत्युक्तो नारदस्तेन वाक्‍्यं सर्वमनो5नुगम्‌ । व्याजहार सभामध्ये दिव्यदर्शी महातपा:,शतयूपके इस प्रकार प्रश्न करनेपर दिव्यदर्शी महातपस्वी देवर्षि नारदने उस सभामें सबके मनको प्रिय लगनेवाली यह बात कही

ity ukto nāradas tena vākyaṁ sarva-manonugam | vyājahāra sabhā-madhye divya-darśī mahā-tapāḥ ||

Setelah ditanya demikian, Nārada—resi dewa yang mahatekun, berpenglihatan ilahi—berkata di tengah sidang dengan tutur yang sejalan dengan hati semua orang, elok dan tepat pada waktunya.
