Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda

धुन्धुमार उवाच अकृतज्ञस्तु मित्राणां शूद्रायां च प्रजायतु । एक: सम्पन्नमश्चातु यस्ते हरति पुष्करम्‌

dhundhumāra uvāca | akṛtajñas tu mitrāṇāṁ śūdrāyāṁ ca prajāyatu | ekaḥ sampannam aśnātu yaḥ te harati puṣkaram ||

Dhundhumāra berkata: “Barangsiapa mencuri padmamu, biarlah ia menjadi orang yang tak tahu berterima kasih kepada sahabat-sahabatnya; biarlah ia beranak melalui perempuan dari golongan Śūdra; dan meski berkecukupan, biarlah ia menyantap hidangan lezat seorang diri.”
