Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नानाविधैश्व विहगैर्जलप्रकरसेविभि: । एकद्वारामनादेयां सूपतीर्थामकर्दमाम्
nānāvidhaiś ca vihagair jalaprakara-sevibhiḥ | ekadvārām anādeyāṃ sūpatīrthām akardamām ||
Di sana burung-burung dari berbagai jenis, yang hidup dari air, minum dari genangan yang melimpah sambil memenuhi tempat itu dengan aneka kicau. Waduk itu hanya memiliki satu pintu masuk; tak satu pun benda di dalamnya boleh diambil. Tangga untuk mandi tersusun indah dan kokoh, dan tempat itu bebas dari lumut serta lumpur.
