Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नैव लोभ॑ तदा चक्रुस्तत: स्वर्गमवाप्रुवन्
naiva lobhaṁ tadā cakrus tataḥ svargam avāpruvan
Bhishma berkata—bahkan saat itu mereka tidak menyerah pada ketamakan; karena itulah mereka mencapai surga. Walau sangat lapar dan digoda oleh orang-orang terkemuka dengan beragam kenikmatan, para mahatma itu tidak tunduk pada hasrat—maka mereka meraih kedudukan surgawi.
