नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
When a righteous or necessary undertaking is threatened, dharma expresses itself as shared responsibility: capable agents are urged to protect and sustain what must be preserved, placing the welfare of the larger purpose above personal preference.
Bhīṣma explains that the gods and sages, seeing their plan endangered, prompt the six Kṛttikās to take up the task of nurturing the child (linked in the wider episode to the divine child’s care after complications in his birth narrative).
