सैनापत्येन त॑ देवा: पूजयित्वा गुहालयम्‌ । शशंसुर्विप्रकारं तं तस्मै तारककारितम्‌

Transliteration

senāpatyena taṁ devāḥ pūjayitvā guhālayam | śaśaṁsur viprakāraṁ taṁ tasmai tārakakāritam ||

Translation

Bhishma berkata—para dewa, setelah memuliakannya dengan jabatan panglima tertinggi, memuji perbuatan luar biasa itu di kediaman gua—perbuatan yang dilakukan demi menumpas ancaman Tāraka.
