राक्षसाश्न ददुस्तस्मै वराहमहिषावुभौ । कुक्कुटं चाग्निसंकाशं प्रददावरुण: स्वयम्‌

Transliteration

rākṣasāś ca dadus tasmai varāha-mahiṣāv ubhau | kukkuṭaṃ cāgni-saṅkāśaṃ pradadāv aruṇaḥ svayam ||

Translation

Bhishma berkata: Para Rākṣasa menghadiahkan kepadanya dua hewan—seekor babi hutan dan seekor kerbau. Dan Aruṇa sendiri, saudara Garuḍa, menganugerahkan seekor ayam jantan yang merah menyala laksana api.
