Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
रुद्रस्तु तेजो5प्रतिमं धारयामास वै तदा । प्रस्कन्नं तु ततस्तस्मात् किंचित्तत्रापतद् भुवि
rudras tu tejo 'pratimaṃ dhārayāmāsa vai tadā | praskannaṃ tu tatas tasmāt kiñcit tatrāpatad bhuvi ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Pada saat itu Rudra menahan daya pijar yang tiada banding; namun tetap saja sebagian kecil terlepas darinya dan jatuh di sana juga ke bumi.”
