Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala
Wahai Prabhu, keyakinan kami teguh: bahkan Dewi Bumi, langit, maupun surga tak sanggup menanggung daya sinar-Mu. Sekalipun semuanya bersatu, tetap tak mampu memikulnya; seluruh dunia akan menjadi abu oleh hentakan kemuliaan-Mu.”

Extraordinary power—especially when linked to divine radiance and destiny—must be approached with restraint and discernment, because unchecked potency can overwhelm even cosmic supports (earth, sky, heaven) and threaten the welfare of the world.
Bhishma warns that the union being discussed would produce a son of such overwhelming might that he would defeat the gods, and that the sheer intensity of the Lord’s tejas (radiance) would be unbearable for the very realms of earth and heaven, endangering the world itself.
