व्यास उवाच
The verse teaches the dharmic efficacy of dāna—specifically go-dāna (gifting a cow)—as a meritorious act that leads to auspicious heavenly attainments.
Vyāsa addresses the king (Yudhiṣṭhira), describing the blissful heavenly experience of those who reach such realms—where Apsarases sport with them—and states that giving a cow is a direct means to attain those worlds.
