दानफलप्रकरणम् — उपानहदानं, तिलदानं, भूमिदानं, गोदानं, अन्नदानं च

Gifts and Their Stated Results: Footwear, Sesame, Land, Cows, and Food

ब्राह्माणं वृत्तिसम्पन्नमाहिताग्निं शुचिव्रतम्‌ । नर: प्रतिग्राह्म महीं न याति परमापदम्‌

brāhmaṇaṁ vṛttisampannam āhitāgniṁ śucivratam | naraḥ pratigrāhya mahīṁ na yāti paramāpadam ||

Seseorang yang menganugerahkan tanah kepada seorang Brahmana yang mapan dalam laku benar, yang memelihara api suci (āhitāgni), dan teguh dalam kaul yang murni, tidak jatuh ke dalam malapetaka yang paling berat.
