Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)
विपुल उवाच अजितेन्द्रिय दुर्बुद्धे पापात्मक पुरन्दर । न चिरं पूजयिष्यन्ति देवास्त्वां मानुषास्तथा
vipula uvāca | ajitendriya durbuddhe pāpātmaka purandara | na ciraṁ pūjayiṣyanti devās tvāṁ mānuṣās tathā ||
Vipula berkata: “Wahai Purandara, engkau berdosa, budimu menyimpang, dan tak mampu menaklukkan indria. Jika engkau tetap begini, para dewa—dan manusia juga—takkan lama lagi memuliakan dan memujamu.”
