Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
कलविड्क उपस्पृश्य विद्याच्च बहुशो जलम् | अग्ने: पुरे नर: स्नात्वा अग्निकन्यापुरे वसेत्
Kalaviḍka upaspṛśya vidyāc ca bahuśo jalam | Agneḥ pure naraḥ snātvā agnikanyāpure vaset ||
Dengan melakukan penyucian di Kalaviḍka dan berulang kali melakukan pembasuhan dengan air, seseorang memperoleh pahala setara mandi di banyak tirtha. Dan orang yang mandi di Agneḥ-pura (tempat suci Agni) memperoleh kediaman di Agnikanyāpura.
