एवमुक्तो भगवता व्यासेन पृथिवीपति: । युधिष्ठटिरं सहामात्यमनुजज्ञे नदीसुत:,भगवान् व्यासके ऐसा कहनेपर पृथ्वीपालक गंगापुत्र भीष्मने मन्त्रियोंसहित राजा युधिष्ठिरको जानेकी आज्ञा दी
evaṃ ukto bhagavatā vyāsena pṛthivīpatiḥ | yudhiṣṭhiraṃ sahāmātyam anujajñe nadīsutaḥ ||
Setelah Bhagawan Vyāsa berkata demikian, Bhīṣma—putra sungai dan penguasa bumi—memberi izin kepada Raja Yudhiṣṭhira, beserta para menterinya, untuk berangkat.
