आत्मनोडर्ध तु तस्याग्नि: सोमो<र्ध पुनरुच्यते । ब्रह्मचर्य चरत्येका शिवा चास्य तनुस्तथा
ātmano 'rdhaṃ tu tasyāgniḥ somo 'rdhaḥ punar ucyate | brahmacaryaṃ caraty ekā śivā cāsya tanus tathā ||
Vāyu berkata: “Separuh dari dirinya adalah Agni (api), dan separuh lainnya kembali dinyatakan sebagai Soma (prinsip sejuk-lunar). Salah satu wujudnya menetap dalam brahmacarya (tapa disiplin selibat), dan wujud itu adalah Śiva.”
वायुदेव उवाच
