प्रदाता सर्वलोकानां विश्व चाप्युच्यते महत् । ज्येष्ठभूतं वदन्त्येनं ब्राह्यणा ऋषयो5परे
pradātā sarvalokānāṁ viśva cāpy ucyate mahat | jyeṣṭhabhūtaṁ vadanty enaṁ brāhmaṇā ṛṣayo 'pare ||
Dialah pemberi bagi semua dunia, menganugerahkan kepada makhluk apa yang mereka dambakan. Alam semesta yang maha luas ini pun dinyatakan sebagai perwujudannya. Karena itu para brāhmaṇa dan para resi lainnya menyebutnya sebagai yang tertua—yang mula dan yang terutama di antara segala makhluk.
