वायुदेव उवाच हन्त ते कीर्तयिष्यामि नमस्कृत्य कपर्दिने । यदवाप्तं मया राजन् श्रेयो यच्चार्जितं यश:
vāyudeva uvāca hanta te kīrtayiṣyāmi namaskṛtya kapardine | yad avāptaṃ mayā rājan śreyo yac cārjitaṃ yaśaḥ ||
Vāyudeva berkata: “Wahai Raja, setelah bersujud hormat kepada Kapardin (Śiva, Sang Bertatah Rambut), akan kuceritakan kepadamu kebaikan sejati apa yang telah kuraih dan kemasyhuran apa yang telah kukumpulkan.”
