स ददर्श तदाभ्याशे मातरं ते शुभाननाम् | तामपि स्मयमानां स पायसेनाभ्यलेपयम्
sa dadarśa tadābhyāśe mātaraṃ te śubhānanām | tām api smayamānāṃ sa pāyasena abhyalepayat ||
Saat itu ia melihat ibumu yang berwajah elok berdiri dekat, tersenyum. Atas perintah sang resi, aku pun mengoleskan pāyasa pada tubuh ibumu yang tersenyum itu.
