अश्रिभ्यां सह सोमं च पिबाम विगतज्वरा: । फिर तो मदके मुखमें पड़े हुए देवताओंने आपसमें सलाह करके इन्द्रसे कहा --'देवराज! आप विप्रवर च्यवनको प्रणाम कीजिये (इनसे विरोध करना अच्छा नहीं है)। हमलोग निश्रिन्त होकर अश्विनीकुमारोंके साथ सोमपान करेंगे”

Transliteration

aśribhyāṁ saha somaṁ ca pibāma vigatajvarāḥ |

Translation

Cyavana berkata, “Marilah kita minum Soma bersama para Aśvin, terbebas dari segala demam dan derita.” Maka para dewa yang diliputi gentar berembuk, lalu berkata kepada Indra, “Wahai dewa-raja, tundukkanlah hormat kepada brahmana utama Cyavana; melawan beliau bukanlah jalan yang baik. Dengan demikian kami dapat dengan tenteram minum Soma bersama kedua Aśvin.”
